Abilities Network’s Autism Services enable individuals with autism to function meaningfully and successfully in their homes, schools and communities. Autism Services are offered through two of our programs: Project ACT (All Children Together) and Community and Employment Partners (CEP).
Our Project ACT program offers a unique opportunity through Therapeutic Integration for children ages 5-14 on the autism spectrum to play and learn valuable social and leisure skills within after-school and summer camp settings with their typically developing peers. A specially trained Inclusion Specialist supports these children in the program and works on personalized goals according to each child’s treatment plan. Individualized plans are centered round the strengths and needs of each child participating in the program.
Through our CEP program, we support adults with disabilities, including those on the autism spectrum, to live and work as independently as possible in their communities. CEP supports individuals interested in gaining essential life skills to live and/or work independently. Once personalized needs and skills are identified, each person receives an specific plan to guide the location and maintenance of jobs, homes, health, safety and happiness.
