    Leslie Seid Margolis

    Board President

    Leslie joined Abilities Network’s Board in 2013.  She currently serves on the Project ACT Advisory Board and Executive Committee.  She served on the 2014 50th Anniversary Steering Committee. As an attorney at Disability Rights Maryland, Leslie is an advocate for individuals with disabilities. Leslie and her family arranged a beautiful luncheon with music as a fundraising event in 2016.

    Leete A. Garten, Esquire


    Leete joined Abilities Network’s Board in 2011 and is a member of the Finance Committee. He is an attorney with Fedder & Garten. Prior to joining the firm, Leete was the sole law clerk for the three Judges of the Orphans’ Court for Baltimore City.

    Michael Zuidema


    Mike joined Abilities Network’s Board of Directors in 2013 and is currently a member of the Executive Committee. Additionally he played an active role on Abilities Network’s 50th Anniversary Steering Committee which planned a year of celebratory events in 2014. He was active in securing sponsorships for the agency’s 5K Run and 2K Fun Walk annual signature fundraiser. Mike also co-chaired the bowling event in 2016.

    Andrew has been a member of Abilities Network’s Board since 2011. He is currently a member of the Executive Committee and Senior Services Advisory Committee. He served on the 2014 50th Anniversary Steering Committee. Andrew is a Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management.

    Maxine Seidman

    At Large

    Maxine has been involved with Abilities Network since 2000.  Maxine is also a member of the Project ACT Advisory Board and Executive Committee. She served on the 2014 50th Anniversary Steering Committee.  Maxine is the owner of Playkeepers. Maxine and Playkeepers have sponsored the Project Act annual conference for the past three years.

    Grant Yuan

    At Large

    Grant joined the Executive Committee in 2018. Grant was educated at Columbia University and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Financial Economics and Mathematics. He currently works at T. Rowe Price as an Associate Analyst in the Media & Telecommunications Fund.

Sam Coleman

BR Catering

Sam has been a member of Abilities Network’s Board since 2011.  Since then, Sam and his family have generously supported Abilities Network’s annual 5K Run/2K Fun Walk event with free ice cream sundaes, to the delight of children and adults alike. Sam also provided ice cream for our bowling fundraiser. He resides in Montgomery County.

Stephanie A. McGuire, CPA

As a Principal in the Audit, Accounting and consulting Department of Ellin & Tucker and member of the firm for more than a decade, Stephanie is a trusted advisor and engagement team member for a significant number of the firm’s most prominent clients in the construction, not-for-profit, and manufacturing and distribution industries, as well as employee benefit plans.

Lauren Elizabeth Pierce

SPARKS! Marketing

Lauren graduated from the Pennsylvania State University with a major in Nutritional Applied Sciences and a minor in Human Development and Family Studies. Lauren currently works at SPARKS! Marketing Communications as the Operations and Client Services Manager.

Brandon M. Scott

President of the Baltimore City Council

Brandon joined the Abilities Network Board in July 2015. He is a community leader, public servant and lifelong resident of Baltimore City. Brandon began his service to the people of Baltimore as a Site Program Specialist for Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Central Maryland.

Leslie is an integral part of Playkeepers, Inc. a group of Child Care Centers located in Baltimore County. She is a results-oriented, high-energy, hands-on professional, with a successful record of accomplishments in the School Age Child Care field.

Kyle Weadock

ACCESS Nursing

Kyle is the President of ACCESS Nursing Services of Maryland. He is responsible to ensure all facets of the business are in complete compliance with ACCESS Policies and Procedures, Federal, State and Local regulation, Medicaid regulation and the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Home care. Kyle sponsored an event for our Senior Services/ Move Management program.

Paul Trinkoff, Esquire

Miles & Stockbridge

Paul is a long time board member of Abilities Network. Throughout the years he has played an active role in a variety of fundraisers and other events. He currently practices law at Miles & Stockbridge.

Christopher Kelly

RBC Wealth Management

Chris joined Abilities Network’s Board in 2014 and is a member of the Finance Committee. He is a First Vice President – Financial Advisor at RBC Wealth Management.

Sam Hodapp

Capstone Programs at Junior Achievement of Central Maryland

Sam has spent most of his career in the field of education and advocacy for individuals with intellectual disabilities.  He served as a special education teacher and respite provider, and prior to his current position directing Capstone Programs at Junior Achievement of Central Maryland, Sam worked for Special Olympics Maryland overseeing their Baltimore programming.  Sam is excited to use his experience to help benefit the many individuals served by Abilities Network.

Byron T. Deese

Glass Jacobson Financial Group

Byron joined the Abilities Network Board in 2019, and serves on the Compensation and Finance Committees.  Byron is a Retirement Plan Consultant for Glass Jacobson Investment Advisors, and specializes in providing services for small businesses and nonprofit organizations.  Byron is a graduate of Tuskegee University, and is also the founder of the Dream Makers Network, a professional networking group that hosts community organizing activities in Baltimore City.

Hara E. Oyedeji, CRNP

Fortitude Behavioral Health, LLC

Hara joined Abilities Network in May 2019. She is a board certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. Hara works for a large outpatient mental health clinic outside of Washington DC and in her private practice, Fortitude Behavioral Health, where she believes in “Forging the Path to a Healthier Mind and Body.”

Derek Davis, MBA

Derek joined the Abilities Network Board in the Fall of 2019. He enjoys leveraging his network to promote community empowerment. Derek works in strategy at a marketing firm where he is responsible for helping clients navigate the dynamic industry of digital marketing. He has a passion of helping people, but also gives back to the community by fostering dogs looking for forever homes.
