Autism Services
About our Program
What is Autism Services?
Serving children ages one to 21 years, program services work directly with the child and their family to support the development of skills to live, play and socialize with increased independence at home and in their communities. The Autism Services program was founded in 2003; we provide services to residents in Baltimore City and surrounding counties.
As an Autism Waiver provider, Abilities Network Autism Services is monitored by the Provider Interagency Medicaid Monitoring Team. The report from their most recent visit rated our services related to 16 key components of regulations. We are proud to report that we received 100% in all areas except for one in which we received an 80%. The following is a remark from that report, “Leadership and staff at Abilities Network are commended for a consistency high rate of compliance across a broad spectrum of monitored areas. Operations of the agency were characterized by impressive attention to detail and compliance with regulatory requirements”.
